Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.

Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout

Local events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.

Online footage show countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.

“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an translator.

The procession path ended at Dodger Stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

Pre-Parade Festivities and Player Reactions

Celebrations started prior to the procession, with Dodgers fans lighting flares in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, awarded the World Series’ Most Valuable Player, spoke plainly about the win.

“Losing is not an option,” Yamamoto said. “I love the Dodgers. This city means everything to me.”

Mixed Reactions and City Unity

However, the team owner was met with a less warm reception at the rally. Recordings from the gathering seem to depict him taking the stage to a combination of applause and jeers, with jeers interrupting his speech.
